Geissele Automatics Super Modular Rail HK416/MR556 14.50" M-LOK Handguard - Black Anodized

The Geissele Automatics Super Modular Rail (SMR) for the HK416 and MR556 platform is a precision-engineered free-float handguard designed as a direct replacement for the factory rail. This 14.50" M-LOK version brings the proven SMR mounting interface to the HK short-stroke gas piston rifle platform while meeting military specifications.

Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodized black, the SMR HK416 is built for demanding use. The rail features M-LOK mounting slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for accessories, lights, lasers, and grips, while the top retains a continuous Picatinny strip for optics, back-up iron sights, and aiming devices. Its free-float design locks down barrel harmonics for improved accuracy potential over the factory handguard.

Designed as a direct replacement for the factory HK416 / MR556 handguard, the Super Modular Rail uses the stock HK barrel nut and mounting hardware for a clean, factory-fit installation. This is the 14.50" black anodized M-LOK configuration (Geissele part 05848B), ideal for maintaining the factory rail length while gaining modern accessory compatibility.
