The Battle Arms Development BAD-BCG-M16 is a mil-spec M16-cut bolt carrier group machined from 8620 steel and finished in a low-friction Black Nitride coating. Designed as a drop-in upgrade for the AR-15, M16, and M4 platforms, it is fully compatible with .223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO, and 300 Blackout chambers, and ships ready to install in any standard AR-pattern upper.

The M16 profile features forward assist serrations on the carrier body, allowing the platform's forward assist to engage the carrier directly for positive manual chambering. The carrier measures 10.6 inches overall, and the Black Nitride finish reduces friction between the BCG and the upper receiver rails.
