The Rosco Manufacturing K9 barrel is a precision 16-inch 5.56 NATO replacement barrel built for the AR-15 platform. Cut from 416R stainless steel and finished in black nitride (Melonite), it pairs a 1:7" twist with an intermediate-length gas system and an optimized gas port engineered to cycle reliably suppressed and unsuppressed.

The K9 uses Rosco's continuous (hatchet) profile and weighs roughly 34.5 oz. The muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 to accept standard AR-15 muzzle devices, and the barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO. The 1:7 twist rate stabilizes a broad range of bullet weights commonly used in 5.56 NATO applications.

This is a barrel-only item, ready to drop into any standard AR-15 upper assembly. It ships without a barrel nut, gas block, or additional small parts, making it a clean foundation for a new build or a suppressor-ready upgrade to an existing rifle.
