The Faxon Firearms Match Series Target barrel brings competition-grade precision to the AR-10 platform in .308 Winchester. Manufactured in-house by Faxon from gun-barrel-quality 416-R stainless steel bar stock, this 20" target-profile barrel uses 5R button rifling with a 1:10" twist. The 5R rifling pattern uses five lands and grooves with gently rounded edges that guide the bullet down the bore with reduced jacket deformation, preserved velocity, and easier cleaning between range sessions. The barrel extension carries an NP3 (Nickel Teflon) coating for added lubricity and corrosion resistance at the chamber.

The exterior of the barrel carries a bead blast finish for a clean, matte stainless appearance that resists glare and minor handling marks.
