The Leupold 50007 Standard Base is a one-piece scope base purpose-built for the Remington 700 rifle in Left Hand Long Action configuration. Forged and machined from quality steel and finished in Black Gloss, this base provides the rigid, repeatable platform needed to mount Leupold Standard rings (sold separately) and a scope or other optical accessory to the rifle's receiver.

Designed for standard calibers less than .300 Win Mag, the 50007 features a pivoting front dovetail that allows lateral adjustment using the rear windage screws during bore sighting, while shims can be used to reserve the scope's elevation travel. The single base mounts directly to the rifle's receiver and is built to withstand heavy recoil and repeated field use.
