The Huxwrx Flash Hider-QD 556 XL is a quick-detach muzzle device built for 5.56mm AR-pattern platforms with 1/2x28 threading. This extra-long variant is purpose-built for 13.7" barrels, where its added length brings the host rifle to the legal 16" overall length threshold without requiring a permanent barrel change.

The flash hider measures 2.96" overall and adds 2.34" to the muzzle. Its primary job is to mitigate muzzle flash when the host rifle is run unsuppressed, while the precision-machined quick-detach interface lets the shooter mount and remove compatible suppressors by hand, with no tools and no shift in zero.

This XL flash hider is fully compatible with the Huxwrx HX-QD suppressor family (556k, 556, 762, 762 Ti, and Magnum Ti) as well as the FLOW 556k and FLOW 556 silencers, making it a versatile mount point across the lineup. Finished in a durable black coating, it threads onto any standard AR-pattern barrel with a 1/2x28 muzzle.
