The Faxon Firearms Enhanced Forged 338 ARC Stripped Upper Receiver is purpose-built for shooters building a hard-hitting 338 ARC AR-15. Machined from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and finished in a rugged Type III hard coat anodized black, this stripped upper is designed specifically for the 338 ARC chambering with the proper feed ramps and internal clearances to support the larger 338 cartridge case.

The Enhanced forging adds rigidity over standard forged uppers, helping the receiver stand up to the added pressure and energy of 338 ARC loads while keeping weight at approximately 0.53 lbs. The matte black anodized finish pairs cleanly with most AR-15 builds, and the upper accepts standard AR-15 components and lowers for a complete custom build.

This is a stripped upper receiver sold without a barrel, bolt carrier group, charging handle, handguard, or muzzle device. Pair it with a matching Faxon 338 ARC barrel and your choice of components to complete your build.
