Magpul MOE SL Mid-Length Handguard AR-15/M4 M-LOK Black Polymer

The Magpul MOE SL Mid-Length Handguard (MAG551-BLK) is a drop-in replacement forend for AR15/M4 rifles equipped with a mid-length gas system and A2 front sight. Built from reinforced, heat-resistant glass-filled polymer with an integral riveted aluminum heat shield, it delivers modular M-LOK accessory compatibility in a slimmer, lighter, more cost-effective package than traditional aluminum rail handguards.

M-LOK slots at the two, six, and ten o'clock positions accept optional Picatinny rail sections and direct-attach M-LOK accessories for mounting lights, slings, grips, and other gear. A large front extension and lower lip shields the shooter's support hand from the hot A2 front sight assembly and maximizes usable handguard length.

Installation uses the existing delta ring and a round front handguard retaining cap; some mid-length firearms ship with a triangular cap and are not compatible. The MOE SL is not compatible with piston-operated AR platforms and must be paired with an A2 front sight assembly (other gas blocks are not supported). If present, the factory sling swivel must be removed from the A2 front sight base.

Made in the USA, the MOE SL Mid-Length Handguard measures 10.90 inches long, stands 2.40 inches tall, and weighs just 8.8 ounces - a clean, low-profile upgrade for any compatible mid-length AR-15 or M4 carbine.
