AK Rear Trunnion Side Folder Release Button Spring

The AK Rear Trunnion Side Folder Release Button Spring is a small yet essential component in the assembly of AK rifles featuring side-folding stocks. This spring plays a crucial role in the operation of the side-folding stock release button, facilitating its movement and ensuring the proper function of the folding mechanism.

Key features and functions of the AK Rear Trunnion Side Folder Release Button Spring include:

1. Release Button Functionality: The spring is specifically designed to assist in the movement of the side-folding stock release button. This button is typically located on the side of the rifle's rear trunnion and is responsible for unlocking the side-folding stock, allowing it to be folded or extended.

2. Spring Tension: The spring provides the necessary tension to the release button, ensuring that it returns to its default position after being pressed. This tension is critical for the reliable and consistent operation of the side-folding stock release mechanism.

3. Durability: Constructed from durable materials, such as high-quality steel, the release button spring is designed to withstand the repeated compression and decompression cycles associated with the operation of the side-folding stock. Its durable construction contributes to the overall longevity of the firearm.

4. Precise Fit: The spring is engineered to be a precise fit for the release button assembly, ensuring that it functions seamlessly within the firearm's design. This precision is crucial for maintaining the reliability and integrity of the side-folding stock mechanism.

5. Ease of Maintenance: The design of the release button spring allows for ease of maintenance. If necessary, the spring can be replaced without extensive disassembly of the firearm, contributing to the overall user-friendly nature of the AK platform.
