The Wilson Combat Protector Carbine is a duty-grade AR-15 platform semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and built to the quality and reliability standards that have defined Wilson Combat for decades. At its core, the Protector Carbine features Mil-Spec forged upper and lower receivers on Wilson Combat's WC-15 platform, paired with a 16" round match-grade stainless steel barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:8 twist for excellent versatility across common bullet weights.

A mid-length gas system provides smooth cycling and reduced felt recoil, while the barrel is finished off with Wilson Combat's signature Q-Comp ported compensator to dramatically cut muzzle rise and keep the rifle flat and controllable during rapid fire. The flat-top upper receiver is optics-ready out of the box, ready for your preferred red dot, low-power variable, or magnified optic. The rifle is built around a 30-round detachable magazine interface in the standard AR-15 pattern, giving it broad magazine compatibility.

Up front, a BCM Starburst polymer pistol grip and a Wilson/Rogers Super Stoc adjustable buttstock deliver a solid, ergonomic shooting platform. The entire rifle is finished in Wilson's Black Armor-Tuff coating for a tough, non-reflective, and corrosion-resistant surface.
