The Wheeler AR-15 Bolt Catch Install Punch Kit is a purpose-built 2-piece punch set from Wheeler's Delta Series, engineered to cleanly start and finish the bolt catch roll pin on an AR-15 lower receiver without slipping, marring, or damaging the finish.

Both 3/32" steel punches are machined flat on one side so they seat flush against the inside wall of the lower receiver, giving the user proper alignment and removing the guesswork that comes with a standard round punch. The starter punch features a counter-bored tip that positively captures the roll pin and drives it into position without letting it walk or skip. The finishing punch uses an indexing tip to seat the pin perfectly flush with the surface of the lower for a clean, professional install.

Each punch is finished in a protective black coating and fitted with a rubber over-molded handle that improves grip, dampens vibration, and prevents the tool from accidentally scratching or denting the receiver during use.
