The Springfield Armory M1A Standard Issue is a faithful semi-automatic recreation of the U.S. military's classic M14 service rifle, chambered in .308 Win / 7.62x51mm NATO. This California-compliant variant is configured to meet California feature restrictions while preserving the classic M14 handling that defines the M1A platform.
At the heart of the rifle is a 22" carbon steel barrel finished in black parkerized and rifled with a 1:11 twist to stabilize common .308 projectile weights. It is paired with a black parkerized steel receiver and topped with a National Match front sight and a military adjustable rear sight, giving shooters a traditional iron-sight setup right out of the box.
A specially designed California-compliant muzzle brake allows the rifle to meet state feature requirements. The action is a true semi-auto fed from a 10-round detachable box magazine for a 10+1 total capacity, controlled by a two-stage trigger and an ambidextrous safety.
The Standard Issue wears a classic walnut fixed stock for a traditional military look. Right-handed configuration, an overall length of 44.33", and a weight of 9.30 lbs make the rifle a solid choice for range shooting, sport use, and personal protection applications.
