The Springfield Armory 1911 Emissary in 9mm Luger is an all-black, optic-ready evolution of the classic 1911 platform, built around a 4.25" bull barrel for a balance of concealable profile and useful sight radius. The slide is forged carbon steel cut with the model's signature Tri-Top profile and aggressive 40 LPI light-diffusing flat-top serrations along the sighting plane, giving the Emissary a distinctive look and improved grip during a press check.

The slide is optic ready for direct-mount red dot compatibility, paired with low-light defensive sights: a tritium front blade and a tactical rack U-notch rear designed for emergency one-handed slide manipulation. The forged stainless steel bull barrel is match grade with a fully supported ramp and a 1:16 twist rate, delivering reliable feeding with quality defensive and range 9mm ammunition.

The frame is forged stainless steel finished in Black Cerakote for corrosion resistance and durability, dressed with textured VZ G10 grips for a secure all-weather hold. The pistol ships with two 9-round magazines for a flush 9+1 capacity, plus a Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover for mounting lights or lasers.

The Emissary 4.25" carries forward traditional 1911 single-action controls and feel while integrating modern features aimed squarely at defensive use.
