Crafted from a proprietary, heavy-duty black polymer, the SCT 19 frame boasts factory-integrated custom stippling that eliminates the need for expensive aftermarket modifications. It features an aggressive grip texture with Ladder Traction grooves on both the front and rear backstraps, as well as distinct accelerator thumb pads that facilitate a consistent, repeatable grip and excellent recoil control. With its high-extended beavertail and low-profile bore axis, the frame encourages a high, secure hold on the firearm, reducing muzzle flip. Additional user-focused features include an undercut, enlarged trigger guard for comfortable gloved use, serrations on the trigger guard face, and a contoured, recessed magazine release area for fast, stress-free magazine changes.
Built for maximum versatility, this multi-caliber compatible frame is capable of accepting compact 9mm Luger, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG slide and barrel assemblies. The integrated MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover allows for quick, robust mounting of tactical lights and lasers. It also incorporates a subtly flared magazine well that is fully compatible with Magpul GL9 magwells, making reload transitions smooth and rapid.
