The Savage 64 Takedown is a compact semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, built for fast, reliable shooting and easy transport. Based on Savage's proven Model 64 semi-auto platform, the 64 Takedown breaks down at the receiver via a barrel nut, allowing easy disassembly for compact storage and travel.

At the heart of the rifle sits a 16.5" matte black sporter barrel with a 1:16" twist. The satin black carbon steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope base mounting, and the rifle is equipped from the factory with a bead front sight paired with an open V-notch rear sight for quick, intuitive aiming right out of the box.

The semi-automatic action feeds from a 10-round detachable magazine for a 10+1 total capacity. The fixed matte black synthetic stock provides a durable platform for plinking and small-game use. At 36.25" overall length and 4.50 lbs, the 64 Takedown is light, well-balanced, and configured for right-hand shooters. Ships with one 10-round magazine and a factory carrying case.
