The XN stainless steel op rod enhances the operation of the gas system which allows for the sliding of a steel piston on a steel op rod. The improved front handguard cap strengthens and secures the handguard providing a solid feel. The mounting block for the lower rail provides a more secure and solid rail for mounting hardware such as a front handgrip. This also prevents the handguard from twisting. An Allen screw is provided with the secure nut to prevent it from loosening.
