Midwest Industries MISTAP Stock Tube Adaptor - Picatinny AR-Platform

The Midwest Industries MISTAP Stock Tube Adaptor mounts to any standard Picatinny rail and converts it into a mounting point for an AR-15 collapsible buttstock. Built from billet 6061 aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance and long service life, the adaptor is a clean way to add a stock to a non-standard lower or any other platform that exposes a Picatinny section where a buttstock is desired.

The unit accepts a standard mil-spec buffer tube at the industry-standard 1.145" diameter, giving the user 6 stock positions for length-of-pull adjustment. An internal waterproof storage compartment tucked inside the tube keeps small parts, batteries, or cleaning tools safe from the elements. Installation is straightforward; Midwest specifies a maximum torque of 60 inch-pounds when securing the adaptor to the rail.

When installed, the adaptor adds approximately 7.375" of overall length to the host platform. The MISTAP is proudly made in the USA by Midwest Industries and is a lightweight, no-nonsense solution for shooters who want a fixed or collapsible stock on a non-traditional AR-platform build.
