The EAA Girsan Regard Liberador II is a full-size, single-stack 1911-pattern pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Built by Girsan for EAA, the Liberador II is a display-grade take on the classic government-size 1911, pairing traditional lines with premium cosmetic flourishes aimed at collectors and enthusiasts who want a refined carry or range pistol.
This model is built around a 5" barrel housed in a polished stainless steel serrated slide for easy press checks. The stainless steel frame is paired with gold PVD small parts and gold accents, while a gold-plated PVD finish on the barrel adds an additional highlight. A Picatinny accessory rail is machined into the dustcover for mounting lights or lasers, and a low-profile rear sight pairs with a front sight for a clean sight picture.
The Liberador II uses a double-/single-action semi-automatic action with a three-hole trigger and a beavertail grip frame. An ambidextrous thumb safety makes the pistol friendly to both right- and left-handed shooters. The standout cosmetic feature is the pair of pearl-engraved grip panels finished with the Mexican Coat of Arms, giving the gun a distinctive two-tone appearance.
With a 9+1 capacity in 9mm Luger, an overall length of approximately 8.75", and a full-size government frame, the Regard Liberador II is well suited for home defense, personal defense, and recreational range use, and it stands out as a true collector-grade 1911 variant in the Girsan lineup.
