E-Lander (Dies Industries J. Englander Ltd.) is an Israeli precision manufacturer with over 70 years of industrial history, operating an 8,000 square meter facility certified to IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 — the same rigorous quality standards used by tier-one automotive suppliers for BMW, VW, and Magna Group. Their magazine line is a natural extension of their heavy-gauge steel stamping expertise and has been tested and adopted by the Israel Defense Forces, Israeli Police, and Israeli security agencies, including special military and anti-terror units. E-Lander entered the U.S. market in 2013 through The Mako Group and has earned a reputation for delivering military-grade steel magazine performance to the civilian and law enforcement market.
This 30-round 5.56x45mm magazine is built from heavy-gauge GC04-specification steel with a galvanized zinc coating for corrosion resistance and long-term durability in range, storage, and field conditions. The body features fully deburred steel feed lips — a quality step many lower-end manufacturers skip — that resist deformation under drops far better than aluminum alternatives. An enhanced anti-tilt, Teflon-enhanced white polymer follower eliminates the root cause of most AR feeding malfunctions, while the music-wire spring exceeds mil-spec requirements for reliable cycling. The reinforced steel floorplate withstands impact from speed reloads and drop events, and disassembles easily for cleaning without tools.
How it compares: Unlike aluminum GI mags, E-Lander steel feed lips resist spreading on drops (aluminum can spread up to .054" after five drops). Unlike polymer magazines, steel is dimensionally stable across extreme temperatures — no brittleness in arctic cold, no softening in desert heat — and steel bodies absorb lateral crush forces that crack polymer under vehicle weight or heavy abuse.
