Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II AR-15 9.55" Free-Float Handguard - Flat Dark Earth

The Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II is a 9.55" two-piece, free-floating handguard designed for AR-15 platform rifles. Its compact rail length and carbine-length gas system compatibility make it suited to MK18-pattern builds and other compatible AR configurations using the MK12 Low Profile Gas Block.

The handguard is machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Flat Dark Earth with a Mil-Spec Type III hard-coat anodized treatment. An uninterrupted upper rail and Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny accessory rails provide continuous mounting space around the rail system.

Daniel Defense's patented mounting arrangement uses a steel barrel nut and a six-bolt Bolt-Up attachment system with Grade 8 military-specification fasteners to secure the handguard to the upper receiver. The rail measures 2.23" wide and 2.25" high, with a 1.15" internal diameter, and weighs 14.1 oz.

A removable lower rail section permits attachment of an M203 launcher without additional mounting parts or special mounting tools. This handguard is offered in New condition.
