The Umarex USA Prymex is an affordable .22 caliber break barrel air rifle driven by a smooth gas piston (T.N.T. / Nitro Piston) powerplant - an ideal platform for backyard plinking, pest control, and small-game hunting.

The single-shot break-barrel action cocks easily to send standard lead pellets downrange at 820 fps and lightweight alloy pellets at up to 900 fps. An 18.9" barrel keeps the rifle compact and balanced, and the gas-piston powerplant avoids the spring torque, fatigue, and lubrication demands of a traditional steel-spring airgun for long-term reliability.
