The Strike Industries AR-15 Carbine Flat Wire Recoil Spring is an economical, easy upgrade for any AR platform running a carbine-length buffer system. Drop-in simple and built to outlast the standard spring, the flatwire design increases service life, smooths out the shooting cycle, and decreases system vibration for faster follow-up shots. Increased bolt load combined with decreased compression force improves cycling reliability across a wide range of conditions.

Manufactured from cryogenically treated 17-7 PH stainless steel, this spring measures 13-7/8" long with a 0.94" outside diameter and 0.75" inside diameter, with a flat-wire profile of 0.045" x 0.0935". It is a direct replacement for the standard carbine recoil spring in any mil-spec AR-15, M16, or M4 carbine buffer system, and is sold as a single spring.
