The Streamlight TLR-8 HL-X SUB is a high-output rail-mounted pistol light purpose-built for the Springfield Hellcat subcompact. It pairs a 1,000-lumen white LED with an integrated 640-660nm red aiming laser for rapid target acquisition in low light, defensive, and duty applications.

Built on a rugged 6000-series machined aircraft aluminum housing finished in black anodize, the TLR-8 HL-X SUB clamps directly to the Hellcat's factory rail and sits low to preserve a snag-free carry profile. Three operating modes - LED only, LED plus laser, and laser only - are controlled by Streamlight's familiar rear switch, with a user-programmable strobe for signaling or disorientation when needed.

Streamlight's Multi-Fuel system accepts the included SL-B9 proprietary lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack (charged through the light's integrated USB port) or a standard CR123A primary cell. On the SL-B9 the LED pushes 1,000 lumens and 10,000 candela for a 200-meter beam reach, and the IPX4-rated housing shrugs off rain and recoil on the range or in daily carry.
