The S.O.G Trident AT is a hard-use assisted-opening folding knife built around a 3.70" clip point blade of cryogenically heat-treated D2 tool steel finished with a black Titanium Nitride (TiNi) coating for corrosion resistance and a low-glare working surface. The Trident series is designed for professional and everyday carry, and this Blackout variant dresses the package in an all-black color scheme with a glass-reinforced nylon handle.

Built for one-handed deployment, the Trident AT uses SOG's ambidextrous AT-XR locking mechanism with assisted opening actuated by thumb studs. The knife measures 9.03" overall when open with a closed length of 5.33" and weighs 5.15 oz. The plain edge clip point profile delivers clean slicing geometry with a fine tip for detail work, while the Blackout GRN handle provides a secure grip in adverse conditions.

Purpose-built rescue features are integrated directly into the handle: a line cutter for quickly slicing cordage, webbing, or seatbelts, and a glass breaker at the pommel for emergency egress.
