The Browning X-Bolt 2 Pro McMillan SPR is a precision bolt-action rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag for long-range hunting and shooting. New for 2024, this SPR (Special Purpose Rifle) variant of the X-Bolt 2 pairs a McMillan Game Warden 2.0 stock with a carbon-fiber-wrapped heavy sporter barrel for a balance of light weight and accuracy in the field.

At the heart of the rifle is a stainless steel long-action receiver mated to a 22" heavy sporter barrel finished in matte. The barrel features a carbon fiber wrap to reduce overall weight, and is threaded 5/8"x24 to accept Browning's Recoil Hawg muzzle brake. Rifled with a 1:8" twist rate, the bore is suited to a wide range of .300 Winchester Magnum bullet weights.

The action is paired with a tang safety and Browning's Adjustable Target DLX trigger for a clean, crisp, user-tunable pull. The rifle ships with no iron sights installed, leaving the top of the receiver ready for the shooter's preferred optic mounting solution.

A McMillan Game Warden 2.0 stock in an Urban Carbon Ambush pattern carries the action, providing a fixed shooting platform in a gray finish. The rifle weighs in at 6.12 lbs unloaded with an overall length of 42.75", placing it on the lighter end of a precision SPR while still delivering the accuracy and recoil management expected from an X-Bolt 2 Pro configuration.
