The Magpul PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M2 MOE is a 30-round detachable box magazine built for AR-15/M16/M4-pattern carbines and rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington. As part of Magpul Original Equipment (MOE), this GEN M2 magazine delivers the proven PMAG platform in a streamlined, cost-effective package that serves as a reliable upgrade from aluminum USGI magazines.

The magazine body is molded from impact- and crush-resistant polymer in a matte black finish, giving it light carry weight and excellent durability in the field. Internally, a corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring is paired with an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower to keep rounds feeding smoothly and reliably across long sessions at the range or in the field. A flared floorplate provides a positive gripping surface for quick magazine changes and snaps off easily by hand for field stripping and cleaning without special tools.

Functionally identical to the standard GEN M2 PMAG, the MOE variant pares back non-essential features while retaining the engineering and quality Magpul is known for. It is compatible with AR-15, M4, M16, and other 5.56/.223 platforms that accept STANAG-pattern magazines, making it a versatile spare or range magazine for virtually any modern sporting rifle setup.
