The Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 327 TRR8 is a large-frame, eight-shot revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and rated for .38 Special +P duty. Part of S&W's Performance Center line, the TRR8 is built around a scandium alloy frame with a stainless steel barrel and cylinder, delivering eight-shot .357 Magnum capability in a package light enough for extended range sessions.

The 5-inch barrel wears S&W's Elite Series Moss Cerakote finish paired with a black cylinder, producing the distinctive two-tone "Moss" look the TRR8 is known for. The scandium alloy frame keeps weight down to roughly 35.2 ounces unloaded while maintaining the strength needed for sustained .357 Magnum firing. An equipment rail is machined into the frame for mounting lights or lasers, and overall length measures 10.5 inches.

Shooting controls include a single/double-action trigger with an exposed hammer for precise single-action work, a gold bead front sight paired with an adjustable V-notch rear sight for a crisp target-style sight picture, and black finger-grooved synthetic grips that promote a high, repeatable hold.
