The Savage Axis XP Combo in 22-250 Remington is a left-hand bolt-action rifle purpose-built for varmint hunters and predator callers who want a fully kitted package straight from the factory. Savage pairs its proven Axis action with a 22" matte black button-rifled barrel mated to a matte black drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver, then tops the rig with a factory-mounted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope on a two-piece Weaver-style base.

At the heart of the rifle is a 4-round detachable box magazine chambered for the flat-shooting 22-250 Rem cartridge, with a 1:12" twist rate that stabilizes the wide range of varmint and predator bullet weights this round is famous for. The updated bolt handle carries a sleeker, more ergonomic profile for improved hand control during cycling, and the receiver comes drilled and tapped for a secure, repeatable optics mount. Sights are not included, as the rifle ships optics-ready with the Weaver scope mounted from the factory.
