The CZ 457 Varmint MTR (Match Target Rifle) is a precision .22 LR bolt-action rimfire rifle built on CZ's acclaimed 457 platform. Designed in the Czech Republic for varmint hunting and rimfire precision work, this full-size variant feeds from a 5-round detachable magazine (5+1) and pairs an adjustable trigger with a two-position safety. No iron sights are fitted, leaving the receiver ready for your preferred optic.

At the core of the Varmint MTR is its 20.5" heavy barrel with a 1:16" twist rate, cold hammer-forged and finished in black nitride for corrosion resistance and a non-reflective working surface. The chamber is cut to match-grade tolerances for consistent accuracy at the bench or in the field, and the receiver is finished in matching black nitride over steel.

The fixed varmint-style Turkish walnut stock provides a stable shooting platform for bench, prone, and supported positional shooting, with a brown/tan finish that complements the black metalwork. At 34" overall length and 7.08 lbs, the Varmint MTR settles on target without being overly heavy for field carry. The right-hand configuration suits most shooters.
