The Chipmunk 40103 Hunter is a manual-cocking, single-shot, bolt-action traditional hunter pistol chambered in .22 LR, built around a youth-fit frame for smaller-statured shooters. It pairs a 9" stainless steel barrel factory-threaded 1/2x28 (with protective cap) to a one-piece black laminate frame with an abbreviated pistol grip and shortened length-of-pull, making it a purpose-built training and small-game pistol for younger or smaller-framed shooters.

Operation is intentionally simple: a metal cocking knob on the bolt is drawn back to cock the action, the firing pin is released on a crisp trigger pull, and the empty case is manually extracted and ejected on the re-cock cycle. A rebounding firing pin safety automatically blocks the firing pin unless the bolt is fully locked, providing an extra margin of safety during handling.

Sighting is handled by Williams Fire Sights with an adjustable rear paired with a fiber-optic metal front, giving fast, intuitive target acquisition in field conditions. The stainless barrel rides in the laminate stock for a lightweight, weather-resistant package that weighs just 2.36 lbs and measures 17.5" overall. Rifling is a traditional 1:16 twist suited to standard .22 LR ammunition.
