The Mossberg 590R is a tactical 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun built on Mossberg's time-tested 590 platform. The "R" variant adds a top-tang rotary safety selector to the proven pump design, placing the safety in a natural sweep of the shooter's thumb without altering the rugged 590 operating system.

Up front, the shotgun wears an 18.50" barrel finished in OD Green Cerakote and fitted with an integrated heat shield for sustained shooting. The barrel is chambered for 3" shells and threaded for Mossberg's Accu-Choke system, with a Cylinder Bore choke included from the factory.

The receiver is machined from steel and finished in matching OD Green Cerakote, giving the action a uniform, corrosion-resistant finish throughout. Operating as a slide-driven pump, the 590R carries a total of 6+1 rounds through its tubular magazine.

At the rear, a Black AR Mil-Spec adjustable synthetic stock anchors the action, paired with a Black Magpul grip up front for an ergonomic hold. The shotgun ships with no fixed sights, leaving the top of the receiver clear for an optics mount or rail-mounted sighting solution.

Overall length measures 36.25" and the shotgun tips the scales at 7.10 lbs, giving it a manageable balance for handling and transport. Whether used for tactical applications or recreational shooting, the 590R delivers Mossberg's renowned 590 dependability in a modernized configuration.
