The Mossberg 590A1 Tactical is the most durable pump-action shotgun in the Mossberg lineup, built to meet MIL-SPEC 3443G and trusted as a duty weapon by military and law enforcement agencies worldwide. This hard-use variant of the renowned 500 series replaces polymer components with all-metal controls for uncompromising reliability in the field.

Chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3" chamber, the 590A1 Tactical runs a 20" heavy-walled barrel finished in non-reflective Black Parkerized coating. The barrel is paired with a fixed cylinder bore choke and a simple bead front sight for fast target acquisition, while the receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting optics or accessories.

Proven twin-action bars drive an 8+1 capacity, with dual extractors and an anti-jam elevator keeping the gun cycling under stress. Mil-Spec construction is highlighted by the metal trigger guard and metal safety button and the familiar top-mounted, ambidextrous safety that puts both right- and left-handed shooters on equal footing.
