Browning Maxus II Sporting 12 Gauge 28" 3" 4-Rd Semi-Auto Shotgun

The Browning Maxus II Sporting is a purpose-built semi-auto shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3-inch chamber that also cycles 2 3/4-inch shells. Built for the clay course, the Maxus II Sporting carries a 4-round capacity (2 3/4-inch shells) and pairs a 28-inch vent-rib barrel in matte black with a matching matte black aluminum receiver.

At the heart of the action is Browning's PowerDrive Gas System, engineered to manage recoil across a wide range of loads - from light sporting clays target loads up through heavy 3-inch magnums - while keeping the action running cleanly. A Lightning trigger delivers the crisp, consistent pull that competitive shooters expect from a dedicated sporting gun.

Pattern control comes from Browning's Invector-Plus Midas choke system. This shotgun ships with a complete set of five choke tubes - Full, Improved Cylinder, Improved Modified, Modified, and Skeet - so the shooter is ready for any presentation on the course right out of the box.

The gloss oil-finished Turkish walnut stock features an adjustable comb, allowing the shooter to dial in precise eye alignment with the vent rib for consistent target acquisition shot after shot. The brown stock finish pairs naturally with the matte black metalwork for a refined, traditional sporting-clays appearance. Overall length measures 51.38 inches and the gun tips the scales at approximately 7.60 lbs.
