At the heart of the 1887 is a lever-action mechanism that pairs a 26-inch round blued steel barrel with a matching blued steel receiver. The action handles 2.75-inch shotshells and feeds from a tubular magazine for a total 5+1 capacity (5 rounds in the tube plus 1 in the chamber). The fixed walnut stock wears a classic brown finish that complements the deep bluing of the metalwork and completes the vintage silhouette.
