The Stevens 555 is a lightweight, fast-handling over/under shotgun built around a svelte aluminum receiver paired with a classic Turkish walnut stock and forend. Designed for both hunting and target use, this full-size 12 Gauge model delivers the classic two-barrel break-open experience at an approachable price point.

Featuring a 28" over/under vent-rib barrel with a 3" chamber, the 555 promotes quick target acquisition and balanced swing. The break-open action holds two shells - one in each chamber - making it well suited for upland bird hunting, clay sports, and casual range work. Overall length measures 45.28" and weight comes in at a nimble 6.20 lbs, keeping the gun light in the hands during long days afield.

A satin black aluminum receiver reduces carry weight while retaining the strength needed for repeated shooting sessions. The receiver is mated to a fixed Turkish walnut stock with a brown oiled finish and a matching walnut forend. Controls include a single-stage trigger, a tang safety, and a front bead sight for fast, instinctive aiming. The shotgun is configured for ambidextrous use, accommodating both right- and left-handed shooters.

Each Stevens 555 ships with five interchangeable choke tubes (Cylinder, Full, Improved Cylinder, Improved Modified, and Modified), letting the shooter tune patterns for everything from close-range brush to long-range pass shooting. Shell extractors and a manual safety are standard. The metal finish is black satin over the aluminum receiver and barrel, pairing cleanly with the warm brown walnut stock for a timeless field look.
