The Charles Daly 500 is a tactical, double-barrel side-by-side shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge with a 3-inch chamber and a classic break-open action that hinges open for loading and cleaning. Two 20" barrels are mated to a matte black receiver with matching matte black barrel finish, giving the 500 a low-profile, no-glare look purpose-built for tactical, defensive, and coach-gun roles.

The fixed wood stock carries a black finish with a rubber grip, and a separate pistol grip is included so the shooter can configure the 500 to suit the mission. A brass bead front sight sits on the muzzle end of the barrels, a rubber recoil pad helps soften felt recoil at the shoulder, and an integrated sling mount is built in for field carry. The action is fed by two shells, one per chamber, for a total capacity of 2 rounds.

Patterning is handled by the modern Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke thread system, and Charles Daly ships this model with four chokes included: Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full.
