The Taurus Raging Hunter is a big-bore hunting revolver built around the powerful .44 Remington Magnum cartridge. Designed for handgun hunters and magnum revolver shooters, this 6-shot revolver combines the energy of a serious hunting round with the controllability needed for accurate follow-up shots in the field.

This model features a 5.12-inch ported barrel with factory-tuned porting and a gas expansion chamber that vents gases upward to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil. The angular barrel design lightens the front of the revolver without sacrificing strength, helping the overall package weigh 49 ounces unloaded. The barrel is topped with an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting a scope or red dot, and the package includes a scope mount base so optics can be added right out of the box.

The Raging Hunter is built on a large steel frame finished in Matte Black Oxide, paired with a matching Matte Black Oxide cylinder and a black anodized barrel. The double-action/single-action mechanism gives you fast double-action trigger pulls for close work and crisp single-action shots when accuracy matters. Sights are set up with a fixed front blade and an adjustable rear for solid iron-sight performance straight from the factory, and the exposed hammer allows easy single-action cocking.

Black rubber grips provide a comfortable, secure hold and help absorb recoil from full-power magnum loads. With an overall length of 10.90 inches, this full-size revolver is well suited to medium-range handgun hunting, wilderness defense, and recreational magnum shooting at the range.
