Taurus 942 Ultra-Light 22 LR 3" 8-Shot DA/SA Revolver - Matte Stainless

The Taurus 942 Ultra-Light is an 8-shot, double-action/single-action revolver chambered in .22 LR. Built around a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame with a stainless-steel barrel and cylinder finished in matte stainless, this small-frame revolver keeps carry weight down while delivering the easy recoil, mild report, and reliability that make rimfire revolvers a natural fit for concealed carry, plinking, and skills training.

The 3" barrel and 8-round cylinder give the 942 Ultra-Light a compact footprint that disappears in an inside-the-waistband holster. A DA/SA trigger lets the shooter run fast double-action follow-up shots or thumb-cock the hammer for a crisp single-action press. Taurus pairs the action with a set of fixed sights for fast, intuitive target acquisition.

The cylinder and barrel wear a matte stainless finish over stainless steel, while the frame uses an anodized aluminum alloy to drop weight without sacrificing rigidity. A finger-grooved black polymer grip fills the hand and gives the shooter positive control over the mild .22 LR recoil. The 942 Ultra-Light is part of Taurus's small-frame revolver family and ships new in factory packaging, ready for range time right out of the box.
