The Taurus Judge is a unique double-caliber revolver that chambers both .45 Colt cartridges and .410 bore shotshells from the same cylinder, giving shooters a versatile defense and utility gun in a single package without cylinder swaps. Built by Taurus on a compact stainless steel frame with a matte finish, this configuration pairs a 6.5" barrel for extended sight radius and accuracy with the convenience of a 5-shot cylinder. The Taurus-designed rifling effectively spreads shotshell patterns at close quarters while still guiding .45 Colt bullets accurately to the target, making this Judge equally at home on the nightstand, in the truck, or on the range.

This Judge runs on a proven DA/SA (Double-Action/Single-Action) trigger, allowing the shooter to choose between rapid double-action fire for quick defensive situations or precise single-action control when accuracy matters most. The exposed hammer provides a clear visual indication of cocked/fired status and lets the user cock the gun for a deliberate single-action shot, while the transfer bar safety helps prevent accidental discharge by only allowing the hammer to strike the firing pin when the trigger is fully pressed. A fiber optic front sight paired with a fixed rear sight delivers fast target acquisition across a wide range of lighting conditions.

The black Ribber grip with finger grooves provides a secure, comfortable hold and helps manage recoil from full-power .45 Colt loads or .410 shotshells. At 12.5" overall length and weighing 32 oz, this revolver balances portability with shootability. The compact frame keeps the gun manageable while still accommodating the 5-round cylinder.
