The Rough Rider Tactical Cowboy is Heritage Manufacturing's take on the classic single action cowboy action revolver, configured for modern rimfire shooting. This large frame, six-shot revolver is chambered in 22 LR and is also compatible with 22 WMR, so both common small bore rimfire cartridges can be run in the same gun.

The frame is built from zinc alloy and carries a Picatinny rail for mounting a red dot or other optic. The 6.5 in barrel and cylinder are finished in black oxide, and the muzzle is threaded for a suppressor or other threaded attachment.

Firing is by single action only, with an exposed hammer and a manual safety. A fiber optic front sight provides a high-contrast sight picture, and the revolver measures 11.78 in overall at a weight of just 2.09 lbs.

The six-round single action layout is smooth to cock and easy to shoot, making this a practical and economical .22 rimfire revolver for everyday plinking, target shooting, and training.
