The Charter Arms Target Magnum is a large-frame double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum with secondary .38 Special capability, letting shooters run full magnum loads or light-recoil practice ammo through the same five-shot cylinder. Part of Charter Arms' Mag Pug family, this Target Magnum configuration pairs a longer 4.2" stainless steel barrel with an adjustable rear sight and fixed front blade for a longer sight radius and more precise shot placement than the snub-nose Mag Pug variants.

Built as a traditional DA/SA revolver with an exposed spurred hammer, the Target Magnum supports both single-action precision fire and smooth double-action follow-ups, with no external manual safety in keeping with classic defensive revolver conventions. The swing-out cylinder holds 5 rounds of .357 Magnum or .38 Special and indexes on a conventional crane release. A matte stainless finish covers the barrel, cylinder, and frame for solid corrosion resistance in both range and everyday environments, and the black finger-grooved rubber grip fills the hand and helps tame magnum recoil.
