The Traditions Vortek StrikerFire LDR is a .50 caliber inline single-shot muzzleloader built for hunters who want long-range accuracy from a break-action platform. This striker-fired design has no external hammer and runs on a 209 primer for clean, consistent ignition of loose powder or pellets in any weather.

The heart of the rifle is a 30" fluted and tapered Chromoly steel barrel in a stainless finish, paired with a fast 1:24" VAPR twist. That quicker rifling stabilizes modern high-BC conicals and sabot projectiles far better than the older 1:28" muzzleloader standard, producing noticeably tighter groups at extended ranges. The barrel is drilled and tapped for scope base mounting, letting you run the optic of your choice directly on the action.

Up front, the Vortek StrikerFire LDR carries Traditions' premium TAC2 trigger system, a two-stage, competition-style trigger that breaks cleanly at roughly 2 lbs. That light, predictable pull makes a real difference when you're squeezing off a shot at game or punching groups on paper. The barreled action sits in black synthetic furniture finished off with a rubber butt pad for all-weather comfort and a secure shoulder.

At 6.50 lbs and an overall length of 46", the LDR balances well for both offhand and prone shooting without being a burden on long hikes into the backcountry. The break-action loading is fast and simple, and the inline ignition handles the full range of modern .50 caliber muzzleloader projectiles.
