The Winchester SXP Field Compact is a scaled-down pump-action shotgun designed for shooters who want a quick-handling 12 Gauge. Its shorter 43.50" overall length makes it easy to maneuver from a blind, in heavy cover, or anywhere a longer standard-length shotgun feels unwieldy.

The action is a proven Winchester pump driven by a 24" matte black steel barrel with a 3" chamber and the Invector-Plus choke system topped by a simple bead sight. Three Invector-Plus choke tubes come in the box: Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified, so you can switch from tight patterning at the range to mid-range upland work to close-in brush hunting with a simple swap.

The receiver is machined from black aluminum alloy to keep carried weight down to just 6.50 lbs, and the drop-out trigger pack makes routine cleaning and inspection straightforward. A crossbolt safety at the trigger guard offers fast positive engagement, and the gun is configured for right-hand shooters. The magazine tube holds 4 shells (2.75") with one in the chamber for a 4+1 total capacity.

A fixed satin walnut stock keeps the lines classic and the gun pleasant to carry.
