The Weatherby Vanguard Outfitter is a purpose-built hunting rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag, pairing the proven Vanguard bolt action with field-ready features for serious big-game hunters. Its 26" #2 contour barrel wears a Black Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance in harsh weather, and the fluted profile reduces weight while helping the barrel shed heat between shots.

At the core of the Outfitter is the time-tested Vanguard bolt action, fed from an internal box magazine with a 3+1 round capacity. The action rides in a stainless steel receiver finished in Black Cerakote and drilled and tapped for scope mounting. A crisp two-stage trigger and a three-position safety give hunters precise, reliable control, and the barrel uses a 1:10" twist to fully stabilize the broad range of bullet weights used in 300 Win Mag hunting loads.

The threaded muzzle comes equipped with Weatherby's Accubrake muzzle brake, dramatically reducing felt recoil from full-power 300 Win Mag loads so shooters can stay on target for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The Monte Carlo synthetic stock is finished in a hand-applied tan, brown, and white sponge camouflage pattern that breaks up the rifle's outline in open country. Lightweight and weatherproof, the stock keeps the rifle's overall weight to a carry-friendly 7.25 lbs at an overall length of 48.5", well balanced for offhand, prone, and stickshooting alike. The factory omits iron sights so the owner can mount their preferred optic directly on the receiver.
