The Weatherby Vanguard Black Hills is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, purpose-built for long-range hunting and precision shooting. Built on Weatherby's proven Vanguard action with a SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee, the Black Hills pairs a cold hammer-forged barrel with a match-grade adjustable trigger to deliver consistent downrange performance.

The barrel measures 24" in a heavy #2 contour and is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressor or muzzle-device compatibility, with a factory-installed muzzle brake included to help manage felt recoil. The barrel features a 1:8" twist rate. The steel receiver ships with no iron sights installed, allowing the shooter to mount their preferred optic.

Feeding is handled by an internal box magazine with a 3+1 capacity. Controls include an adjustable trigger and a 3-position safety. The stock is Weatherby's Peak 44 Monte Carlo design molded from polymer and finished in a green-and-tan camouflage pattern for a stable cheek weld and ergonomic field grip.

Overall length is 44.50" and the rifle weighs approximately 7.80 lbs, balancing portability for backcountry carry with the mass needed for steady prone shooting.
