The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands brings the proven Vanguard bolt-action platform to hunters seeking a dedicated long-range rifle in the high-performance 7mm PRC chambering, finished in the popular Badlands Approach camouflage. Chambered for 7mm PRC and fed through a 3+1 internal box magazine accessed via a hinged floorplate, this rifle is built for open-country and mountain big-game hunting where flat trajectories and high-BC bullet performance matter.

The 24" #2 contour threaded barrel is finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote for corrosion resistance and a low-visibility look in the field, and is ready to accept a suppressor or muzzle brake. It is mated to a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optic mounting; no iron sights are included, leaving a clean platform for the shooter's preferred scope. A 1:8" twist rate stabilizes the wide variety of modern high-ballistic-coefficient 7mm PRC projectiles.

Inside the action, the Vanguard Badlands features an adjustable two-stage match trigger for a clean, crisp pull and a 3-position safety for safe carry and safe unloading. The bolt body is fluted for smooth cycling and reduced weight, contributing to a rifle that measures 44.50" overall and tips the scales at 7.50 lbs - a carry-friendly weight for spot-and-stalk and long-range hunting alike.

The Monte Carlo synthetic stock incorporates a raised comb for a proper cheek weld behind high-mounted optics and is finished in the Badlands Approach camo pattern, which uses adaptive coloration to break up the rifle's outline against varied western and mountain terrain. Configured for right-hand shooters, the Vanguard Badlands ships from the factory as a complete hunting rifle with a threaded barrel, drilled-and-tapped receiver, and Badlands Approach camo finish - just add optics and ammunition.
