Weatherby Vanguard Badlands 270 Win 24" 5+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 270 Win, and the first production rifle to wear the popular Badlands Approach camouflage. Designed for hunters who chase open-country game, it pairs a rugged stainless action with a modern, weather-resistant synthetic stock for hard use in the field.

At the heart of the rifle is a 24" #2 contour threaded barrel finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote for corrosion and abrasion resistance in tough conditions. The barrel is mated to a drilled and tapped stainless steel receiver, giving shooters a rock-solid platform for scope mounting. The action uses a fluted bolt body and is fed by an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, delivering a total capacity of 5+1 rounds.

The synthetic Monte Carlo stock features a raised comb for proper cheek weld when running a scope, and is wrapped in the distinctive Badlands Approach camo pattern that uses adaptive coloration to break up the rifle's outline at distance. An adjustable two-stage match trigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp break, while a traditional 3-position safety provides secure carry and a safe unload position. The barrel twists at 1:10" and the rifle ships with no iron sights installed, ready for the optic of your choice.

Configured for right-hand shooters, the Vanguard Badlands measures 44.50" overall and weighs 7.50 lbs - a balanced package built to handle tough backcountry conditions from plains to timberline.
