Weatherby Mark V Live Wild Carbon 7mm Backcountry 20" 3+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild Carbon is a purpose-built backcountry bolt-action rifle chambered in the compact, hard-hitting 7mm Backcountry cartridge. Built around Weatherby's legendary Mark V action with a 54-degree bolt throw and skeletonized bolt for faster cycling, this rifle is engineered to be carried farther and hunted harder in the most demanding terrain.

At the heart of the Live Wild Carbon is a 20-inch BSF carbon fiber barrel, fluted and threaded, finished in Carbon Gray Cerakote for corrosion resistance in harsh field conditions. The barrel is paired with Weatherby's Accubrake ST muzzle brake to tame recoil and offers a 1:8-inch twist rate to stabilize modern high-ballistic-coefficient projectiles. The steel receiver feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 3+1 round capacity.

A TriggerTech trigger delivers a clean, crisp, user-adjustable pull for precise shot placement at any distance. The rifle wears a fixed Peak 44 Bastion polymer stock in a black and gray sponge camouflage pattern, and the overall length measures 41 inches at a svelte weight of just 6.50 lbs. No iron sights are installed, allowing the shooter to mount optics directly to the receiver for a purpose-built backcountry hunting rig.
