Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Guide 7mm Backcountry 24" 4+1 Bolt-Action Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry Guide is a purpose-built lightweight mountain rifle chambered in the proprietary 7mm Backcountry cartridge and built around Weatherby's legendary Mark V action. Designed for hunters who count every ounce, the Backcountry Guide pairs a 24" BSF carbon fiber barrel with a Peak 44 Blacktooth exposed carbon fiber stock to deliver a rifle that is exceptionally light and exceptionally tough.

The BSF carbon fiber barrel wears a Graphite Black Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance in rough weather and harsh terrain. The Peak 44 Blacktooth stock uses a patented carbon fiber construction with an exposed weave, finished in an Olive Green / Backpack Sponge pattern that lets the carbon fiber show through. Spartan Precision gunsmithing adapters are factory installed so the rifle is ready to accept a Spartan Precision bipod or shooting stick right out of the box.

Engineered for the longest, toughest backcountry hunts, the Backcountry Guide weighs in at approximately 5.4 to 6.4 lbs depending on chambering and offers a 4+1 capacity in the proprietary 7mm Backcountry cartridge.
