The Weatherby 307 Alpine CT is a purpose-built bolt action hunting rifle built on Weatherby's newest bolt-action platform, the Model 307. The action is a 2-lug, fully cylindrical bolt design chambered in .308 Winchester and feeds from a 4-round detachable magazine, giving the shooter a 4+1 capacity. A spiral-fluted bolt matches the fluted profile of the barrel for a clean, modern look and positive hand purchase.

At the heart of the rifle is a 24-inch BSF carbon fiber barrel threaded for the installed muzzle brake, which helps tame felt recoil on the hunting line. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes the wide variety of .308 Win hunting bullets on the market. No iron sights are installed, leaving the rifle ready for your favorite optic on the factory Peak 44 Picatinny rail.

The stock is Weatherby's Peak 44 Bastion carbon fiber stock with a molded-in digital camouflage finish that handles the rough country of an alpine hunt. At just 6.1 lbs, the Alpine CT is light enough to pack on a long stalk while still absorbing recoil comfortably. The rifle stretches to an overall length of 44 inches and is laid out for ambidextrous use.

The trigger is Weatherby's externally adjustable TriggerTech Field unit, paired with a two-position safety for safe carry. The steel receiver and carbon fiber components make this a durable, lightweight hunting rifle that takes full advantage of the Model 307 action.
